I Look Like a Monkey
Today is my 31st birthday. The approach to this one has not exactly been a smooth one, but this weekend has been great for relaxing, and reflecting, and realizing how good I have it. I've got a good woman, a good dog, and a good life. And even though I was passed over yet again for the PWA/St. Martin's Press contest, I'm coming along well with my writing and I've still got plenty of time to get my career started.

So today we celebrate what I have done, and what I have the potential to do, and all of the people who have helped me achieve everything (and birthed me and such--Thanks Mom).
